What does Twitter Reach, Relevance and Frequency actually mean?

I always get asked about what you are supposed to measure on Twitter, aside form the obvious things like Follower numbers, number of Twitter Lists you are on etc. For example why does Twitter reach, relevance and frequency really mean?

I came across a good post by FreshNetworks, who looked at this exact issue in their post.  They produced an easy to follow presentation explaining the four areas you should be looking at. I have put these four areas together in one image, so you can easily see the different measurements you can extract via Twitter and what they really mean, below.
